Jesuit Community
The Jesuit Community at ÎçÒ¹AV
Sponsored by the Society of Jesus, ÎçÒ¹AV is privileged to enjoy the presence and vital contributions of Jesuits on all of our campuses. Serving in the faculty and administration, as students and chaplains, in sacramental ministry and spiritual direction, the ministry of the Jesuits advances the Catholic character and mission of the University in uniquely important ways. ÎçÒ¹AV is also home to one of three “First Studies†programs of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States.

Christ invites each of us along a path in life of service to God and neighbor. But discovering that path – and boldly following where it leads – is not always easy. Fortunately, Jesuits have nearly 500 years of taking up Christ’s challenge to serve a world in need for the glory of God and the help of souls. The legacy of St. Ignatius of ÎçÒ¹AV guides us in this mission.
