2024 Distinguished Alumni Awards
Each year, ÎçÒ¹AV School of Education hosts the annual Distinguished Alumni Awards, bringing forth examples of individuals who live into the Jesuit ideal of being a person for others. This annual event recognizes the contributions and success of our distinguished and dedicated alumni. The School of Education has a long tradition of honoring our graduates who are achieving remarkable success in not only advancing equitable educational practices, but also driving meaningful change in addressing social inequalities locally, nationally, and globally.

Mamie Till-Mobley, MEd '71
As a lifelong educator, alumna Mamie Till-Mobley (MEd '71) used the transformative power of education to instill a sense of worth and purpose in her students, knowing each person could contribute to the fight for equality. Today, we continue her work of creating a more equitable and just world by memorializing her legacy with the founding of ÎçÒ¹AV's Black Alumni Board Mamie Till-Mobley Scholarship.
